Staff working at Bury St Edmunds IT support company Green Duck will be able to enjoy their down time after the firm installed a games lounge.
The venture will enable the staff who spend their days helping others with IT headaches to enjoy some quality relaxing time for themselves.
Four gaming consoles and a number of bean bags and refreshments will enable staff to take time out away from work screens.
The games lounge has been created in a former office at the Western Way site and is part of an employee well being commitment.
Rachel Bridgen, chairman of the social & wellness committee, said: “It’s all part of promoting the whole work place wellness balance for staff.
“It’s aiming to get people away from their desks. We want this to become a place which is not just for work but something else.”
The firm is also aiming to hold some game related events and involve people outside the company
The company already runs a range of activities for its 50 staff including yoga, go karting, a walkathon, and trips to restaurants.
Staff also enjoy the company of office dog Sophie, a black Labrador, who is listed among staff photographs on the company website.
